Mornings just got a little easier thanks to iKettle.

Not that waiting for water to boil is a gruelling task, however time management (especially in the morning) is crucial, therefore being able to check one thing off your morning checklist while still in the comfort of your own bed makes us wonder why no one’s thought of this idea sooner.

It might just be the ultimate invention for the lazy person in us all: a kettle you can switch on from your phone. The concept, iKettle is a product that can be switched on virtually anywhere in your home. An accompanying app allows your smartphone to heat up the kettle without you ever having to physcially touch the switch. it also features four different temperature options (depending on your drink of choice), as well as an automatic “shut-off” boil-dry protection button, ensuring you can’t switch on the kettle without any water inside.

Once the water is ready, your phone will let you know and even ask if you’d prefer to stay in bed while it keeps the water warm for a while. Sounds tempting, righ

Now if they could find a way to make the drink and have someone serve it to you in bed as well …
